I currently work for Prison Fellowship England and Wales, as their Communications Officer. PF is a network of volunteers who desire to show Christ’s love to people in prison and their families. We run courses on restorative justice, enable parents in prison to send their children presents at Christmas, run a pen-pal scheme, and support the vitally important work of prison chaplaincies. To find out more, visit the PF website.
In 2012, I helped launch Serve the City in Luxembourg. Serve the City is a movement of volunteers serving those in our communities. We believe that many people doing small things together makes a big difference.
It’s part of the global Serve the City family, that all started in Brussels in 2005. Serve the City creates events that mobilises volunteers to serve in simple ways, through meals, beauty afternoons, practical projects, friendship and more. We are the connection between the good intentions and talents of people who could volunteer and a meaningful opportunity to get involved
