One of the things I love about Brussels is that it is so easy to get around. It takes me 20 minutes to walk to the centre, only 20-25 minutes on metro to either side of the city from home, and the public transport system is so efficient (although I still stand by my conviction that the metro is fuelled by the souls of the people who travel on it…)
But if I was to ever get a car for those days when the country-bred girl in me is just desperate for fields and sheep and hedgerows, this is my current top three:
